“Matthew Luke Tucci is a writer, producer, director, actor, and multi-time Grammy considered songwriter and recording artist.
He was voted best new artist in 2018 by New Music Weekly after his hit song “Castaway” reached the top 40 charts. His passion comes through in everything he writes and produces, and his music has captivated audiences worldwide. After hundreds of live performances spanning over two decades and recording over 60 songs receiving nationwide airplay, his focus has now transitioned to the beautiful art of filmmaking.
Movie making has been on his radar for years and has now come to fruition in a major way. He has been quoted as saying, filmmaking was the natural progression but for me every story starts with the music. The method of writing dialogue and score at its inception emanates the emotion and through the melody, for me, the story comes to life.
To date he has one director credit and two writer and producer credits. His two passion project films were released in 2021 & 2022.
“Mr. Birthday” is based on a character that he created over 25 years ago at a very young age. He has always wanted to bring this character to life and has now accomplished just that in a truly magnificent way. “Mr. Birthday” is a timeless, adorable family-oriented film that is sure to bring joy to many.
On the opposite side of the spectrum is “Broadcast”. After writing two albums, “Broadcast” and “Broadcast – Part Two” as well as a novella, he dedicated his focus to writing the screenplay. “Broadcast” is a sci-fi fantasy film that definitely checks all the boxes for those who genuinely appreciate a thought-provoking experience. “Broadcast” is an extraordinary story driven film.
Matthew Luke Tucci is currently writing his third film, “Sad in the Walls” scheduled for filming in late 2022. His writing and directing style exhibit a unique artistic identity and while immersing yourself in his art, one can definitely feel the passion behind the auteur.”
